Hayagriva is regularly practised at the Sera Je Monastery, where it is considered the main protector.

The retreat is reserved to those who have already received a Most Secret Hayagriva initiation and, as advised by Gesche Tenzin Tenphel, commit to:

– participate in all the sessions

– conclude the mantra number in the given time

– the total of mantras to be recited is 200.00

– 100.000 of the main divinity

– 10.000 for each of the following:

– spouse

– eight entourage deities

– mantra of the exalted wisdom beings

– participate and contribute to the purchase of offerings for the fire puja at the end of the retreat.

This retreat will be guided by Ivan Zerlotti, with the support of Marina Buchet. Both of them are part of the student group that received instructions from the venerable Gesche Tenzin Tenphel and Gesche Loden.

The approximate schedule of the retreat is the following:

Arrival: before 16.00, if possible, to contribute in the preparation of the altar and of the retreat room.

The first session of the retreat, with the blessing of the participants and the initial practices is expected to be around 20.30.
For the following days the broad schedule is as follows:
First session 5.30 am

Second session 10.30 am

Third session 2 pm

Fourth session 5.30 pm

Other personal sessions can be added, should it be the participant’s will.

Participation Fee
The retreat is upon free offer. The earnings will be destinated for a special fund dedicated to the practice of Hayagriva in the Institute.
Every participant has to participate pro quota in the purchase of the materials needed for the preparation and the execution of the final fire puja.

Registration
In order to guarantee a major privacy for the participants, the retreat will be held in the Chenrezig Gompa, with the registrations limited at 20 participants.

It is required to inform the secretary about your participantion in the retreat, even if you are not staying or eating in the Institute.
