The Lama Tzong Khapa Institute offers guest rooms inside the main building and in the park, in very comfortable wooden cottages. Single cottages also have air conditioning.
It is possible to stay for one night (Monday to Thursday) or more nights.
Accommodation bookings are intended primarily for those attending courses and are made online at the same time as course registration, with advance payment (free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival): follow the User Guide.
It is also possible to request accommodation even if you are not attending a course, via email or phone. However, priority will always be given to bookings linked to a course, so booking a stay only on weekdays or when no courses or retreats are taking place is recommended.

Accommodation and Meal Prices
All accommodation prices are per person, per night, and include full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Meals run from dinner on the first day to lunch on the last day.
WARNING: We inform our kind guests with food intolerances that we cannot always guarantee that any requests made at the time of booking will be accommodated. As for food allergies, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate them. Although we take the utmost care and follow HACCP procedures for allergen management, we cannot guarantee the absence of accidental cross-contamination in our dishes due to the nature of kitchen operations. Membership: Please note that to access the Institute’s activities, guests must be registered members for the current year (January – December).
During the summer months (June, July, and August), a minimum stay of 2 nights is required.

Pets
Pets are not allowed in the course rooms. Due to past unpleasant incidents, it is not possible to enter the dining hall with your dog. This is to protect the animal’s own health, particularly on weekends when the hall can be very crowded and the presence of multiple animals can become difficult to manage.

PROMOTION FROM JANUARY 1, 2026:
Book all your meals for the course you are attending for just € 26 per day for the entire duration of the course.
The promotion is valid only when booking meals for the entire duration of the course, at the cost of € 26 per day. For example, for a two-day course, the total is € 52. A course starting on Friday afternoon and ending on Sunday at lunch is considered a two-day course (2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 dinners).
N.B. Meals included in the promotion or in the full board accommodation that are not consumed are non-refundable.
Please note that the reception is equipped with a POS terminal (card payments accepted).
Inside the Main Building
Double Rooms
The double rooms overlook the Institute’s park. They are furnished with side tables, a desk, and a wardrobe.
Dormitory Rooms
The male and female dormitories can host up to ten beds each. They include wall-mounted shelves and space for clothing.
Multiple Rooms
These rooms have 3 to 6 beds and are equipped with a wardrobe. Bathrooms are shared and located along the corridors.
On the Terraced Grounds of the Institute
Wooden Huts
There are single and double rooms located in comfortable wooden huts on the terraces of the olive grove, with views of the forest and the sea. All rooms feature wooden walls, flooring, ceilings, and bright windows.
Double huts are heated in winter, while single huts have independent air conditioning (hot/cold) throughout the year. Each room is equipped with a service table, a desk, and an area for clothing.
Each room shares a bathroom with the adjacent room.
The Institute provides each overnight guest with one pillow with pillowcase, two sheets, and one blanket.
Please note: except for the dormitory and the multiple rooms, where personal towels are not provided, all other accommodation types include one bath mat, one bath towel, and one face towel per person.
*For participants of the Basic Program and Masters Program, accommodation costs are set as a monthly fee that includes meals.

Monastero Takden Shedrup Targye Ling
For monks there maybe the possibility of accommodation at Takden Shedrup Targye Ling Monastery, an area of the main Institute building allocated to monks. For enquiries contact the reception who will put you in touch with the monastery manager.
Shenphen Samten Ling Nunnery
For nuns, there maybe the possibility of accommodation in a small dormitory in the Institute building that is allocated to the nuns of Shenphen Samten Ling Nunnery. For enquiries contact the reception who will put you in touch with the nunnery manager.
Rules for Dogs and Other Animals at the Lama Tzong Khapa Institute
The Lama Tzong Khapa Institute is a place dedicated to the practice of the Dharma, the teachings of the Buddha, and monastic life. Here, people from around the world live together with monks and nuns, resident cats, and wildlife that honor us with their presence. We welcome all sentient beings with respect and care, but to ensure peaceful coexistence, we ask that access with animals follows these basic guidelines:
Request consent before arrival
If you wish to stay at the Institute with a dog or other animal, please inform us in advance. The presence of the animal will be evaluated according to the context and ongoing events.
Maximum responsibility and supervision
Animals must always be under the direct control of their human companion. They may not be left free or unattended in the gardens or buildings.
Coexistence with dogs, resident cats, and wildlife
The Institute hosts several freely roaming cats and is home to wildlife. It is important that dogs do not chase, disturb, or endanger other animals.
Access to gompas and practice halls only with authorization
Animals may enter gompas, meditation halls, teaching rooms, or libraries only with prior permission. Please request authorization in advance, especially during events, teachings, or retreats.
No access to the dining hall
For safety and peace during meals, dogs are not allowed in the dining hall. In the past, serious aggression occurred between dogs under the tables, where reduced visibility and attention to meals prevented timely intervention. For this reason, dogs are permanently prohibited in the dining hall.
Calm behavior in common areas
Even outdoors, dogs must remain calm, not bark excessively, or display overly energetic behavior that could disturb the peace of the place or frighten other animals or people.
Strict cleanliness
Each person is responsible for picking up after their animal and keeping the spaces they use clean and orderly.
Compatibility with other dogs present
There may be times when multiple people bring dogs at the same time. Please ensure your dog can coexist peacefully with others, especially in the presence of other animals.
Access subject to revocation
If an animal behaves in a way that is incompatible with the spirit of the place or causes discomfort to other beings, we reserve the right to require that the animal be kept in a safe area or, in extreme cases, leave the center.
