Basic Program winter break

Greetings from Venerable Geshe Tenzin Tenphel and students of the FPMT Basic Residential Program.
22nd Thursday, the last lesson of the first subject “Mind and Cognition: How the Mind Works” was held. Best wishes to residential students who will take the final exam for the first module on 6th December at the Institute.
Lessons will resume after the winter break on 4th February 2019 with a new subject “Tenets: Buddhist Philosophical Systems“.
The study program with Venerable Geshe Tenzin Tenphel as a teacher, has started in September 2018, lasts four years and consists of nine subjects. It can be followed residentially (Italian or English) or online (Italian, English or Spanish). Daily teachings are accompanied by revision classes, meditation sessions and periodic retreats of different length.
You can also subscribe to individual subjects.
Basic Program is an advanced educational program in Tibetan Buddhist tradition introduced by the FPMT (Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition). It was designed by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and offers a balanced approach combining academic training and meditative practice. It is therefore a rare and precious opportunity to immerse yourself in a thorough study and practice program.
